Fashion Group ~ “Style” - design original clothing, create unique outfits and costumes, create an MDN t-shirt, hat, and more.
Journalism Group ~ manage the MDN quarterly newsletter, coordinate mailings of member news and achievements, report on MDN activities and community events, explore issues/concerns that interest you.
Book/Cinema Club ~ read and discuss interesting books/films/articles, meet authors, poets, and publicists, write your own book, learn how to publish your original work, develop the MDN book and video library.
Creativity Group ~ explore unique arts and crafts, make jewelry and accessories, design a keepsake box or scrapbook, learn fun and creative ways to decorate, create gift and reward items to present to MDN achievers and supporters.
“Expression” Performance Group ~ sing, dance, recite, choreograph, develop a screenplay direct, perform or coordinate an MDN event or performance.
Production Group ~ “Make It Happen” - produce MDN events and
performances, work with MDN groups teams, and committees as we plan events and activities.

Technology Team ~ update and manage our MDN website, organize online events, explore new technology.
Membership Committee ~ develop and coordinate creative tools taddress members' interests, develop/enhance member policies and guidelines, attend planning meetings and conferences.
Fundraising Committee ~ coordinate fundraising efforts and activities, help with new 2and updates to sponsors and supporters.
Planning Committee ~ help us to coordinate MDN monthly events, activities community volunteer projects, explore and present new ideas for MDN group and team participation, help manage MDN's calendar of events.
New Teams and Committees will be considered. To submit a proposal for the development of a new MDN Team, Committee, or Group you must be a current MDN member in good-standing and have the endorsement of at least one MDN member also in good-standing. Submit your proposal to the Membership Committee and please allow 2 to 4 weeks for review and response.
*IMPORTANT: Due to limits in size and function MDN Teams, Committees and Groups, we cannot guarantee placement in each or all activities or areas of interest. MDN Team, Committee and Group activities are conducted in addition to regularly
scheduled MDN events and projects, and therefore require a commitment of time and effort which MUST NOT interfere with school, church/worship, or family responsibilities and events.
