About Mother Daughter Network [MDN]

Mother Daughter Network [MDN] is a community organization offering fun monthly activities for mothers and daughters (girls and the women who care for them/care about them) to share special time together. Our events are fun ways to relax, chat, and share each others company.  As a young organization  MDN has gained the support of community leaders, church officials, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, caring families, and friends.

The day-to-day activities in life often make communication and sharing difficult.  At MDN, we know the importance of a positive, loving  relationship between girls and the women who care for them and care about them.  We encourage mothers and daughters, aunts and nieces, sisters, cousins, grandmothers and granddaughters, godparents, and friends, to set aside private time to remind each other how much you care.

Our monthly activities are the third Saturday of each month and include:

♥   learning activities, trips (museums, galleries, exhibits)

♥   movies with a positive message
♥   cooking/dining out - trying new cuisines

♥   arts and crafts sessions

♥   self-expression and poetry sessions

♥   information forums for high school/college preparation

♥   open discussions, committees, creative expression through writing and productions
